Private Sessions

1.  How are private sessions scheduled?

Sessions may be in person, by phone, or via Skype, with either Peter or Jamy. To schedule, please contact us here or call us at 617-484-4325.

2.  What issues can I bring to a constellation session?
Any issue can be presented as everyone can benefit from the Constellation Approach regardless of their relationship with their family members or the degree to which they know their family history.

3.  How is a private session done without having group members present to be a representative?
When meeting with either Peter or Jamy privately, we will have figurines for you to use to ‘stand in’ as representatives for your constellation.

If we are working by phone or Skype, we ask that you have available small figurines to ‘stand in’ as representatives for your constellation.  Figurines such as chess pieces, nail polish bottles, spice bottles, small rocks, shells, or crystals and so on may be used.  You will need to be sitting at a table, desktop, or counter top during the session in order to place your figurines upon that area.

As an example, if it’s determined that you need 4 representatives, and you have chess pieces available for your figurines, the king, queen, knight and pawn may ‘stand in’ for you, your mother, your father and a sibling or grandparent.

5.  What are fees for a private Constellation session?
Sessions are offered for 90 minutes with a fee of $200.00 or 75 minutes with a fee of $175.00

6.  When and how do I pay?
Payment is to be made after you have received a confirmation for your session, not later than 3 days prior to the session.

Credit card: Please click here to pay by credit card.

Check or money order:

7. What is your cancellation policy?
We recognize there are times that cancellations occur.  We request notification of a cancellation 3 or more days prior to the session so that you may receive a full refund.  No refunds can be made if cancellation occurs less than 3 days before session date.

Seminars

1.  What’s the difference between the Immersion Program and the Seminars?

Both the Immersion Program and the Seminars offer a healing modality to help evolve a person’s consciousness in relation to their ancestral lineage.  The process assists your healing through three powerful modalities: Family Constellations, Energy Medicine, and the Evolution of Consciousness.  It can be practiced in a group setting as well as in individual private practice.

The Immersion Program is a full course of study involving the 10 Universal Themes common to all families.  Seminars are public events, held on the Saturday of each Immersion Program course.  Seminars are also 1 or 2 day events introducing the Constellation Approach to Family Constellations.

2.  What issues can I present at a Constellation Approach Seminar?
Any issue can be presented as everyone can benefit from the Constellation Approach regardless of their relationship with their family members or the degree to which they know their family history.

3.  Can anyone attend a Saturday Seminar?
Yes, it is open to the general public.  You may register for the 2017-2018 Saturday Seminar Series here.

4.  Is this like family therapy and do I bring my whole family?
The Constellation Approach is not family therapy.  It is not necessary to bring your whole family; you may attend alone or can bring one or two family members who’ve registered, such as a parent, sibling or child.

5.  Will I get to set up my constellation if I attend?
We cannot guarantee that all in attendance will have the opportunity to set up their constellation. Rather, we hold that those who attend the seminar will receive what they have come for, whether one does their own constellation, is chosen as a representative in another’s constellation, or observes numerous constellations throughout the seminar.

6.  Can I attend just the morning or afternoon portion of the Seminar?
We ask that all who attend commit to stay in attendance for the full day – starting at 9:30 am until 5:30 pm.

7.  Do you give Continuing Education Credits?
Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) and Social Workers are available.  Please contact Amy at office@constellationapproach.com for details.

8.  What is your refund policy regarding Saturday Seminars?
Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to the workshop will entitle registrants to a full refund, less an administration fee of $30.00. No refunds can be made if cancellation occurs 14 days or less of workshop date.

9.  What are the logistics regarding the Saturday seminars?
Seminars are located in Belmont, Massachusetts approximately 30 minutes west of downtown Boston and Logan International Airport.

Cost:  $165 per person, registration required.

Start time: 9:30 am

End time: 5:30 pm

Lunch:  Lunch is one hour, approximately from 1-2 pm, not included in cost of Seminar.  There are numerous lunch locations nearby.  Bring your own lunch and snacks if desired.

2017-2018 Seminar Dates are available on the Seminars page.

The Immersion Program

1.  What is the Immersion Program?

The Constellation Approach Immersion Program is designed to take each student through a personal journey of transformation in relation to their family and ancestral lineage as well as to lay a solid foundation for anyone who wishes to learn the art and practice of Family Constellations.

The Immersion Program is a one, two, or three year course in self-development and expansion of consciousness through the practice of The Constellation Approach to Family Constellations. The Immersion Program utilizes the Classic style of Family Constellations pioneered by Bert Hellinger but incorporates the understanding of energy fields and spiritual awareness to broaden the participant’s knowledge and personal experience. Our book – The Constellation Approach: Finding Peace Through Your Family Lineage is the basis for the training.

The Immersion Program is offered in a group setting and anyone can benefit from the approach regardless of their relationship with their family members or the degree to which they know their family history.

2.  Where is your Immersion Program offered?
In Massachusetts 30 minutes west from downtown Boston and Logan International Airport.

3.  What’s the format of the Immersion Program?
The Immersion Program is presented as an intensive 6 meeting 4-day course (3 days plus a Monday ‘Advanced Studies’ day), or 3-day course (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) offered between October and May.

The Immersion Program is a path of study and full immersion into theory, personal constellations, representative experiences, self-directed exercises, and guided imagery meditations. Some of the key themes presented are:
– The theory and practice of Family Constellations
– The journey of the Soul in relation to your family
– The Ten Universal Themes inherent to all families
– Deconstructing Constellations as a way of learning
– Understanding your experience as a Representative in Constellations
– Levels of Consciousness traversed in Constellations
– Individual, Familial and Societal Energy Fields in Constellations

On each of the Saturdays of the Immersion Program, there is a public Seminar in which a broad range of issues relevant to the application of Family Constellations are presented.  Students of the Immersion Program act as representatives in these constellations gaining a broader-based education in family constellation methodology.

4.  Is the Immersion Program just for therapists?
Not at all, the program is designed for anyone who wishes to embark upon a personal healing journey of transformation in relation to their ancestral lineage.

5.  Who attends the Immersion Program?
We have students from all walks of life, education, backgrounds, and spiritual beliefs.  For those in the healing and helping professions, the Immersion Program offers another learning to incorporate into their work.

6.  Do you give Continuing Education Credits?
Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) and Social Workers are available.  Please contact Amy at office@constellationapproach.com for details.

7.  Can I sign up for a few of the themes offered within the Immersion Program?
No. The Immersion Program is a complete learning and healing journey that builds upon itself as each weekend progresses.  However, you may consider attending the Saturday public Seminars to work with any particular theme.

8.  Can I bring my partner, family members or friends to any of the days in which the Immersion Program is held?
The opportunity to have your partner, family members or friends attend is available during the Saturday public Seminars.  The Immersion Program is a year-long training program and people may not drop in for a day.

However, you may want to consider participating in the Constellation Approach Immersion Program with your partner, family member or friend.  This is a very powerful experience which will bring richness to your relationship.

9.  Is homework such as reading and paper writing required?
Our book – The Constellation Approach: Finding Peace Through Your Family Lineage is the basis for the training and serves as the course manual.  Between classes we expect you to read the appropriate sections of the book and for you to set up your own personal constellations to enhance your healing and personal growth.  We also recommend journal writing to keep track of your personal process and progress.  There are no formal papers required to be submitted.

10.  Is the Immersion Program a 3 year program?
Each year is a complete immersion in itself and there is no requirement to continue from one year to the next. However, one year builds upon the next, and we feel there is great benefit in attending the entire 3-year Immersion Program.  Attending all three years is encouraged for those who would like to facilitate this work within their profession and utilize the Constellation Approach as a modality based on their training with us.

For those wishing to embark upon a personal healing journey with regard to their family ancestral lineage, attending one or two years of the program can be enough. Those wishing to hone their skills as a representative and learn the art of facilitation or maintain the connection to a community of like-minded individuals that builds during the course of the program, attending the third year or beyond is absolutely welcomed.

Completion of the 3-year Immersion Program is required in order to facilitate the Constellation Approach Immersion Program, use the name Constellation Approach in marketing and utilize the Constellation Approach book with full approval.
